The Lost Kitten

On Saturday morning, Emma heard a soft meow outside the window. Under a bush sat a small orange kitten. It was wet and shaking with cold.
Emma called her mum. Together they dried the kitten with a towel and gave it a little bowl of milk. Soon the kitten fell asleep on a blanket.
